Network Security, Reimagined

Enterprise-grade network protection designed for everyday Android users. No expertise needed β€” just install and protect.

LAN Access Control

Block or allow local network traffic on a per-app basis. No root access required β€” powered by Android's VPN service for network-layer enforcement.

  • Per-app network policies
  • VPN-based packet interception
  • Works without root privileges

Real-Time Traffic Monitoring

Flow-based tracking shows you exactly which apps communicate on your network. Export detailed logs to JSON for external analysis.

  • Flow-based traffic analysis
  • Per-app bandwidth tracking
  • JSON log export

Open Port Detection

Scan your device for apps with open server sockets. Identify potential attack surfaces before they can be exploited.

  • Server socket scanning
  • App-to-port attribution
  • Attack surface analysis

Backend Threat Analysis

Go-based analysis server processes network flows to identify suspicious patterns and known threat signatures in real time.

  • Go-powered analysis engine
  • Blocklist management
  • Regular blocklist updates

How VirusShield Works

Leveraging Android's VPN framework to intercept and analyze network packets at the system level β€” no root needed.

1

VPN Service Activates

VirusShield creates a local VPN tunnel on your device. All network traffic is routed through this tunnel β€” no external servers involved. Your data never leaves your device.

2

Packet Interception

Every packet passing through the VPN tunnel is inspected. The app identifies which application originated the traffic and whether it's targeting local network addresses (LAN) or the internet.

3

Policy Enforcement

Based on your per-app rules, traffic is either allowed or blocked. LAN access control policies are enforced at the network layer, ensuring no app can bypass your rules.

4

Flow Logging & Analysis

All network flows are tracked and logged locally. Export to JSON for detailed analysis, or let the backend threat engine scan for suspicious patterns and known malicious signatures.
